Breathe. Relax. Renew.

Welcome to Desert Song Yoga

Starting on Your Path to Inner Joy

We are honored you have chosen Desert Song as you begin to discover the benefits and joys of yoga! New students are welcome to come to any of our weekly classes or to schedule an individual yoga session. However, we recommend students who are new to the practice of yoga, sign up for our Intro to Yoga series and complement that practice with our Gentle and Basics classes, gradually building to All-Level classes.

Intro to Yoga - Sign Up onLine here

Intro to Yoga is designed specifically for students new to yoga or students who want to refresh their understanding of the core basics of alignment. The series focuses on primary yoga postures, principles of safe alignment, breathing techniques and yoga philosophy. Desert Song Director, Mary Beth Markus and senior teacher, Heidi Lichte, teach the series. Students will enjoy personal attention and hands-on adjustments and refinements from the same instructor each week. The cost for this 3-week series is $65. Pre-registration is required. It is a good idea to retake our intro series to refresh your depth of knowledge. The cost is $35 if you are retaking the series.

As a special bonus, while taking our Intro series, students may build their practice by attending any of our regularly scheduled yoga classes at a discounted price of $12.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: 48 hours' notice required to withdraw from series and receive a refund. No refunds for cancellations after the 48-hour period. No refunds or Credit for no-shows. If you must miss a class, you may make it up the following month. No makeups after 30 days.
