Designed for the beginner to intermediate student, this Tai chi class has selected movements that are easy to grasp. Conducted with soft music, guidelines for body movements, breathing, directing your mind (Yi) and balancing your energy (Qi) will be taught. Warm-up stretches, moving stances, and hand forms will be taught to prepare for the 24 Step Form. Martial art applications, health benefits, and teaching the giving and receiving of love will be experienced.
This class takes you through Qi Gong and Tai Chi movements that will relax, strengthen and stretch the body as well as calm the mind. The Intro to Tai Chi series is recommended first but is not required.

Tai chi teaches us how stillness is the foundation of effective action. In this six week introduction to tai chi we will learn how to achieve this tranquility through the fundamentals. Join the millions of people who obtain self awareness and physical healing through tai chi. This will be a transformational journey. Intro to Meditation is recommended but not required. You may supplement your practice time in Adam's weekly Wednesday evening Tai Chi Class at 7:15 p.m., as well as Kathy's Yang Style class Wednesday's and Friday's at 10:15 a.m.
